    Hi Kevin,

I am working on the installation guide now; updating the README.md in the GitHub repository.  It should be ready later today or by tomorrow.

    Thanks,
    Dave

Kevin, I have made some progress in updating the README with install directions.  It's not quite just exactly perfect yet, but it does list the prerequisites (Java, NodeJS, yarn, Tomcat 9...) and also instructions to get the Vagrant box (which has the Solr, MySQL, Alfresco, Pentaho, and ActiveMQ services).  I'll post another message here after I clear up the last few issues with the installation instructions.

    Dave,

thank you so much.  It looks great!

I do expect that I will have other questions and was wondering if I can communicate directly with you in regards to the ArkCase capabilities/features.

Please send me direct email to yunivrsl@hotmail.com

    thank you

    Hi Kevin,

On the Vagrant box you can log in via "vagrant ssh" from the same folder where the Vagrantfile lives.  The user and password are both 'vagrant'.

By the end of today (European time) I'll have updated the README.md.  The ArkCase login is 'arkcase-admin@arkcase.com', '@rKc@3e', once you get the webapp working and see an ArkCase login page.

    My email is david.miller@armedia.com.

    Kevin,

I have updated the README.md (Tomcat now uses the native library, for OpenSSL support, and updated the Tomcat setenv.sh).  I also made one new commit each to the ArkCase code repository and the .arkcase configuration folder.  The instructions are as good as I can make them right now; I know I'll be updating them based on community feedback.

Also, before long I'll release another editon, where the Vagrant VM also contains the ArkCase webapp, so users can try ArkCase without having to install the many developer dependencies, and build and deploy the war file.

    Dave,

The ArkCase github doesn't seem to be there anymore.  I cannot find the ArkCase github, comes back 404.

    Any idea?

    Hi Kevin,

I have replied to your direct email, and I am also answering here in case anyone else is watching this thread.

Our GitHub repositories are offline for a few days while our security team does another scrub.

    Thanks,
    Dave
